Responsibilities :
Ensure the maintenance department goal are achieved by following the procedures set out the TMS
Communicating and Reporting, Ensure maximum communication levels are maintened between workshop and operations personal regarding breakdown safety issues, an Prioritizing of equipment repairs
Ensure all employees report accurately complete daily breakdown report, Supervision shift report, PCR of submission the planning and administration before 07:00 am/pm every day and Ensure breakdown hours information is provide accurately
Analyze component condition abd recommendation of parts is required. Ensure the correct procedures are use when troubleshooting breakdowns and failures
Review operator’s check list summaries and electrical inspection sheets, Ensure submission to planning department with repair and parts recommendation. Ensure Supervisor and Auto electricians raise recommendation parts lists accurately to address all known work, breakdowns and planned maintenance
Plan and Coordinate shutdown work in cooperation with plan department. Ensure all repairs are carried out in a cost effectively and timely manner.
Investigate and report all accident damages to all equipment in field and associated area this includes operator abuse
Ensure a safe work environment to all employees by ensuring all activities are carried out according to the work procedures in TMS and TCI management plan
Ensure no impact on the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring the procedures of the TMS and TCI management plan are followed
Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner
Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance withTCI mine regulations and maintenance department’s rules
Maintain static/rotating and automobile equipments and heavy earthmover equipments utilized at TCI project
