ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with management to develop and implement the health and safety procedure as per the HSE Standards.

Promote positive health and safety culture in the organization.

To coordinate with management in setting performance standards and carryout proactive and reactive monitoring of the standards.

Providing guidance to control and mitigation of pollutants or effluents that have an adverse impact on the natural environment.

Giving proper advice to the team for the disposal and management of waste products.

Investigating work place accident and incidents and cases of ill-health.

Assisting with audit team to review of health and management system in the organization.

Implementing the existing Company Safety Programs as well as the client’s rules and regulations.

Maintaining health and safety information system.

Coordinate with Project Management Team to prepare Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Process.

Coordinating and monitoring all Health, Safety and Environment activities as per safety and loss prevention standard.

Preparation of JHA for non routine activities in the work site as per HSE standard.

Assist with company Project Management Team to prepare Pre-Qualification documents and timely submission to the client with high standard. (Safety Related).

Counseling the employees to follow safety rules and create good Safety Culture.

Coordinate with HSE team to conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct supervisory safety meeting, participate in weekly planning and schedule the meetings.

Conduct daily inspections in the work area to ensure the health of the employees and the protection of the environment.

Prepare job safety bulletins and subject materials for toolbox meetings. Review and monitor such meetings to ensure effectiveness.

Prepare injury reports, maintain required record keeping system and provide adequate documentation on occupational monitoring activities.

Determine the required minimum Personal Protective Equipment applicable in the project and ensure its proper use at all times.

Assist with HSE Manager and Project Manager for all safety activities in the site.

Monitoring the prevailing working conditions and ensures safe working practices at worksite.

Follow up work permit systems and inspections, planning safety arrangements in the site works.

Ensuring the standards of Emergency equipments like Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Box at site.

Conducting induction training for the new employees.

Advise to remove all damaged tools equipment from the project site to avoid near misses and accidents.

Conduct inspection in regular interval for the Fire Extinguishers, Area Monitor and Toxic clips condition and maintain the records of its locations.

Frequently inspect the job site for the purpose of discovering hazardous conditions and unsafe practices.

Check proper warning signs, warning tapes and barricades installed or not where required to place to prevent the incident/ accident.

Monitor Health, Welfare and sanitation facilities and drinking water on daily basis.

Preparing emergency evacuation/ rescue plans & procedures with periodic mock drills.

Inspection & monitoring of PERMIT TO WORK SYSTEM (PTW) for Hot Works, Confined Space Entry, Electric work, Excavation work, Height work & Safety tags etc.

Inspection & monitoring of working at heights.

Inspection & monitoring of Scaffolding erections/dismantling.

Display of HSE related sign boards.

Display of Safety circulars, safety Alerts, Safety News etc.

Conducting of safety competitions to measure the safety awareness among the employees and awarding the prize winners.
