Presently working in RAK Mangrove hotel project, a 5-star Rotana hotel in RAK, United Arab Emirates. The project consists of Two towers (East Tower – LG+M+UG+12 Floors & West Tower- LG+M+UG+14 floors) & podium . The Towers are comprising of 258 rooms, Restaurants & Retails, Offices, BOH, Ballroom, Meeting rooms and 189 Car Parking, 3 Bus parking, Swimming pool, Guard room & officers club, located at Ras Al Khaimah, Plot No. 313034003
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and approval of Material Submittals/Technical Submittals/Shop Drawings/Method Statements in compliance with project specification, IFC drawings, operators’ requirements, local authority regulations and international hotel standards.
Manage and conduct technical meeting with the PMC & MEP Contractor.
Supervision of the electrical installations in the project within the contract timeline incorporating requirements of the Clients/Operator and changes during the construction phase.
Extend the maximum possible effort to avoid contractor(s) claims for cost and/or delay.
Preparation of technical recommendation for the finalization of Provisional Sum Items.
Inspect the mock-up, permanent works, on-site and off-site materials to be used in the project and organize field and factory tests, conducted by others, on construction materials to ascertain their compliance with the specifications and determine the acceptability for use on the project.
Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports; site inspections notices (SINs) identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the Resident Engineer. Review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, respond / follow ups and close out procedure.
