Adhered to FDA regulations, prevent fraudulent actions, and disposed hazardous materials as specified by EPA.
Increased workflow by 40% using multitasking and problem-solving skills in the busiest pharmacy of the district.
Prepared the prescription labels, selected the type of prescription containers, affixed the prescription and auxiliary labels to the container while answering incoming phone calls.
Research Assistant Molecular Biology Laboratory Riverside, CA Aug 2018 – May 2019
Grew, and processed cell cultures, performed a wide range of procedures including PCR, protein purification, DNA gel electrophoresis, used analytical tools like ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and GC/MS systems.
Operated and maintained various laboratory equipment such as Gas chromatography–Mass spectrometry systems and HPLC systems, bioreactors, incubators, and thermal cyclers.
Implemented Good documentation practices to ensure the scientific report contains credible and valid data.
Maintained impeccable standard in managing chemical inventories, safely disposing of waste, and accurately calibrating laboratory equipment.
Followed local and federal regulations to properly clean up and dispose of harmful waste, autoclaved laboratory equipment and media
Design Projects
Senior Design Project Converting Biomass to Biofuels Riverside, CA Dec 2018 – Jun 2019
Designed a full-scale manufacturing processes that involves 30-unit operations to convert Algae or Soybean into Biodiesel using SuperPro simulating software to observe and validate the performance of different reactors.
Collaborated in a team to formulate a new stepwise procedure for optimizing the process of the transesterification method utilized to extract and convert lipids found in soybeans and micro-algae to biodiesel.
Conducted cost and profitability analysis to examine the expected revenues.
Analyzed results and prepared key presentations and recommendations to align with the economic performance during the development of the processing plant.
Professional Development Converting Cellulosic Biomass into Bioethanol Riverside, CA Jan 2019 – Mar 2019
Developed a process to produce bioethanol from cellulosic biomass that employed enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose followed by fermentation.
Designed a detailed Pipe and Instrumentation diagram on Microsoft Visio that displays pressure, flow, temperature, and level controls, creating a simulation of SuperPro's process.
Performed an economic analysis to determine feasibility and conducted a HAZOP analysis to examine possible dangers and environmental impact.
