From July 1995 to July 2011:

Education Programme and Health Care Activities of the under-privileged children living in the slums in the outskirts of Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. The school for the slum children christened as M.G.M. Balwadi is a part of the charity work carried out by M.G.M.H.S. School, Bokaro Steel City and its sister concerns. Nearly 800 children

studying from Pre-School to Class VIII.

The activities carried out at M.G.M. Balwadi are as follows:

Orientation & Awareness to the Parents of the under-privileged children about the need and importance of sending their children to Balwadis, and about the basic health habits.

Celebrating the Birthdays with the children at Balwadi, to encourage and motivate them to come to Balawadi.

Celebrating the National Festivals at the Balwadis to make the children and their parents aware of the importance of the day and to make them stakeholders of it.

Organizing Cultural Programmes and Basic Yoga exercise like Surya Namaskar.

Tree Plantation by the children and parents.
