PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Front-end Interfaces for Precision 24-bit converter Description: Front-end interfaces to drive ADC are configured in such a way that, the noise contribution of the circuit is less. Production of the differential signal using op-amp is one of the major objectives. Dual output op-amp in a single integrated circuit(IC) reduces the die area as well as overall cost. Finally, performance is analyzed using Dynamic range.

Duration: 10 months

Analysis of power losses of different Buck Converters for LED Application Description: A Buck converter effectively step downs the voltage level. The main objective of this work is designing the different buck converters for LED applications. Performance of the buck converter, synchronous buck converter and interleaved synchronous buck converters are compared using efficiency. Duration: 2 months

Three Phase Induction Motor Fed by PV System Using DC-DC Converter Description: The concept of the proposed system is to supply a three-phase AC motor by designing an appropriate converter and MPPT controller. The controlling of the Cuk converter is based on the value of the duty cycle obtained from Perturb and Observe

(P&O) MPPT controller technique. The output of the converter is fed to an inverter which drives the load.

Duration: 5 months

Real Time Pedestrian Detection System with Speed Control Description: Pedestrian is detected using real time video captured by Raspberry pi camera module. In addition to this, ultrasonic transducer is used to detect obstacle and speed of the motor is controlled using PWM technique.

Duration: 6 months

Smart Cane

Description: A prototype is built as navigation system for blinds. An Ultrasonic Sensor placed on the cane detects the approaching objects and Arduino sends signal to buzzer and to vibrator motor.

Duration: 2 months

LED flasher

Description: The 555 timer IC is used in astable mode behaves as an oscillator, different colour LEDs at output are switched constantly between High and Low, or on and off. Duration: 1 month
