EXPERIENCE
QuickFrame, New York, NY — Staff software Engineer ML Nov 2019 - PRESENT
QuickFrame is an intelligent Video-as-a-Service platform that solves two of the largest problems around video—the slow, expensive production process and the lack of clarity around what drives performance. I am currently leading ML projects at QuickFrame such as:
- Object detection and segmentation in video/image
- Speech to text
- Face clustering
- NLP for understanding text contexts
- Human activity recognition
- Image captioning
Turbonomic Inc., New York, NY — Senior Data Scientist ML Feb 2018 - Nov 2019
Turbonomic autonomic platform enables heterogeneous environments to self-manage to assure the performance of any application in any cloud. As Part of the ML team at Turbonomic I’ve designed Bayesian-GRU network analyzing time series data for optimizing and scaling recommendation for cloud templates as well as statistical analysis of metrics behavior.
Matrics, New York, NY — Data Scientist ML & AI
Oct 2017 - Jan 2018
Matrics couples deep expertise in markets and technology to create cloud-native, Blockchain-driven, highly scalable software systems. Matrics applies deep learning and Artificial Intelligence to optimize the investment management process.

AWARDS
- Nominee for the Israel
Physics Society (IPS) award
for excellent theoretical
Working as part of the quant team, I was developing various machine learning and optimization tools for market risks. Including loan default status classification, Quasi-Newton methods, Particle Swarm Optimizations, Graph theory for network problems and spectral clustering.
Department Of Physics, Columbia University, New York, NY
- Researcher
Sep 2015 - Oct 2017
Building a highly efficient numerically exact neural network solver based on matrix-product-state (MPS) theory. This was applied to an infinite system of many-body physics which included quantum statistical mechanics of different degrees of freedom. I was also Leading and conducting a research team and establishing a new theory of high-temperature superconductivity.
