• Executes the field welding inspection, surveillance and quality control activities on site, collecting the relevant objective proofs, ensure that all welding operations are executed in accordance with all relevant codes of practices and company procedures/practices.

• Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on sites.

• Issues the relevant quality records and when necessary, write and send to quality control supervisor nonconformance reports, verifying conformity of the work to specified quality requirements and ensuring that the inspections are carried out and documented in accordance with the quality

• Controls welding parameters and consumables during installation/construction activities, supervising welding operations control procedures and welders qualifications

• Checks the availability and suitability of the filler material and preheating, welding, heat treatment, the different joint types, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders and taking any corrective actions, the heat treatment record diagrams.

• Performs pipes line check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fitting are to the correct specification and the material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements.

• Carry out visual inspections

• Verifies collaboration/linearity

• Monitors defect removal by different non-destructive inspection methods (MPI, UT, LPI, RT).

• Accepts nondestructive test

• Handles welding technical queries

• Ensures all welding, heat treatment, hardness testing, PMI and non-destructive testing are in compliance with the relevant code and specifications

• Orderly collects and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the "as built" drawing.

• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved inspection test plan by construction contractor.
