KEY FUNCTIONS:

STAFFING & RESOURCE ALLOCATION:
Recruit, interview, select, hire, schedule and allocate safety projects to 10 direct reports (i.e. HSE Managers, HSE Engineers, Officers, Supervisor, Administrator, Trainer), Disciplinary and performance evaluations of all staff under leadership. Plan, organize, allocate resources (i.e. labor, Material and execute pre-construction safety programs (e.g. group risk assessments, project hazard assessments, project specific site safety plans, training.)

DUTIES:
Ensure that all sites in the region have programs in place to ensure compliance with all relevant National HSE Legislation and Corporate policy. Conduct onsite reviews and audits of sites in the region from time to time to ensure the effectiveness of HSE programs. Attend Corporate Compliance Audits of sites as a team member to assess site programs against Corporate Requirements. Drive open corrective actions across all sites in the region to completion. To include items, open on the Corporate Event Tracking system as well as regular review of site specific open corrective action items. Ensure that all sites meet all external and internal reporting requirements on time. Manage the Annual Assurance Letter program for the region. Management Systems. Review the site HSE Management Systems (HSEMS) across the region and ensure that training standardization and consistency are maintained to ensure effective implementation.
