•Used data acquisition system with LabView to acquire laser measurement data on a time basis.

•Worked with a company in Singapore on modifying software and hardware for devices that are previously designed.

•Responsibilities in this case were to find a bug in a software and hardware, write report, and using phone and video conferencing present and discus the findings with the company in Singapore.

Senior Test Engineer (Development of surgical robot)

•During the work in Model Shop created programs using CAM software MasterCam based on SolidWorks designs.

•After programs were created set up and operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathe machines and wire EDM machines to produce those parts. All parts were for Transenterix’s SurgiBoot.

•Created circuit boards for test group needs, including pressure tester for 3D Scope, wrote code for 8051 micro controllers

•Created a testing fixture for future projects using Lab View.

•Other activities include designing and creating fixtures using Solid Works, as well as documentation.

•Lead for a Gauge R&R testing protocols and verification for Surgical robot.

Space Propulsion Group

Engineering Technician / Supervisor

•Worked with team of scientists and engineers as an engineering technician and a supervisor.

•Responsibilities included programming, setting up and running multi axis robotic arm for filament winder to create a rocket engine body which contained complex dome features wrapped epoxy and carbon wire using complex robot arm motion while rocket engine was spinning. Controller for robotic arm was Siemens. All operations were preprogrammed in advance.

•Welded high carbon steel flanges and pipes of 24 - 48 inches in diameter for engine housing.

•Designed and built a Helmholtz resonator for hybrid rocket and all data acquisition for it with Lab View.

•Work included designing in SolidWorks parts for the resonator, machining the same components, and assembling and testing the resonator in the end. Conducted rocket testing in various remote locations.

•Design and testing processes used servo motors, pneumatic actuators, pressure transducers, thermocouples and number of other types of sensors to complete the work.

•Worked for Virgin Galactic on Burst disc development for Spaceship 2 where high pressure systems were used.

•Designed and built electromechanical devices using 8051 microcontrollers.

•Used CNC Milling and Turning machines, made programs with Mastercam.
