HONORS AND GRANTS
Kavli Neuroscience Fellowship, Yale University May 2020 RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Yale University, Neuroscience Department
Undergraduate Researcher May 2019-Present
Advisors: Hal Blumenfeld, M.D., Ph. D., Kate Christison-Lagay, Ph. D. Thesis: Exploring Methods for Predicting Conscious Perception Using Pupil Dynamics Assisting in the development of a no-report paradigm for distinguishing between stimuli that were consciously perceived or not. Recruit, screen, and test participants using the no-report paradigm to collect data on pupil dynamics. Design analysis techniques for predicting behavior based on pre- stimulus signals using MATLAB. Collect and organize behavioral data from clinical and non- clinical participants and familiar with collecting EEG recordings. Present articles about human consciousness at weekly journal clubs.
UT Southwestern Medical School, Division of Neonatal-perinatal Medicine High School Research Intern May 2016
Collaborated with lab associates to analyze protein samples using Western Blot, ELISA, and gel electrophoresis. Performed DNA and RNA amplification using PCR. Managed animals and assisted during surgeries and dissections for sample collection. PRESENTATIONS
