• Ensure safe & reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements

• Conducted fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met.

• Ensure maintenance shops are adequately staffed and mechanics are properly trained.

• Identify training need by evaluating skill matrix & Provide on job training or coordinate with OEM to circulate their training calender & request to incorporate any specific training in their schedule.

• Coordinate with Fabrication Dept to fabricate vehicle Cage/body/tanker/cooling pad as per specification & application of vehicles

• Identification of hazards associated with process activities rating them using methodology based on estimation of hazard.

• Planning & implementing shipping/tracking of goods & coordinating their full order cycle.

• Ensure Vehicle management systems are properly utilized

• Manages & plans relevant (departmental) budget & proactively manages the costs.

• Maintain historical acquisition & maintenance history of each vehicle

• Plan, schedules and direct vehicle maintenance, monitor preventive maintenance checks & services & ensure delivery of goods as per SLA.

• To attend Break down issue (Field failure) of all Vehicles which ply across India over phone or through third party assistance or by deputing own mechanic & resolved issue in a short while to avoid any losses.
