HR duties – Full HR function including advertising positions, short listing candidates, authorising leave in accordance with labour laws. Leave Recons done on a monthly basis.

Admin & Finance – Creditors schedules, Petty Cash recons, Full Project administration duties from disbursement costings for tender purposes, to programming of Architecture roll outs throughout the country as well as international on very tight deadlines. Updating of disbursement schedules & staff timesheets on a monthly basis so that clients are billed accurately and on time. Working in the following departments – check in, acting team leader at the gates, Ramp Controller (this role is to turn around an aircraft within 30 mins, if not you need to allocate the delay to the relevant service provider with cost implications).

Working at the Traffic (co-ord) department which included liaising with our pilots with fuel figures & weather updates, where they are required to park etc. Training staff on an adhoc basis at this department.

Answering all radio calls from the pilots/service providers as well as recording all times of departures & arrivals for SAA, Mango Airlines, SA Air link & International Carriers and preparing stats at the end of the day.

Ensure on time departures for all these airlines and allocating delays to the relevant service providers.
