EXPERIENCE

Tri Counties Bank March 2019 - June 2020

Assistant Manager

In the capacity of an assistant brand manager, I was responsible for driving branch targets, customer support for top clients, hiring and managing performance of the operations team and planning workflow schedules and team tasks. But the thing I am most proud of is the strong work ethic and team culture that I helped build at the branch.

●Achieved 100%+ of branch targets for 4 quarters in a row, leading a team of highly motivated individuals across operations, tellers, sales and branch support personnel.

●Implemented employee engagement, team bonding and development activities, like new hires onboarding, sales pipeline development and product knowledge to maximize productivity and target achievement. Resulted in zero attrition in the team over 5 quarters.

●Was recognized as a top performer and offered the opportunity for training at the headquarters in Chico for 'compliance and audit', 'new account management' and 'change management'.

Chase Bank Mountain View, CA April 2017 - March 2019

Lead Teller

My experience at Chase was a great platform to build my character and skills towards becoming a team lead with an aspiration to move up to an assistant branch manager role. With the scale of Chase’s business, it helped me develop a deep understanding of business operations, focus on customer satisfaction and measurement, cross selling of products and portfolio management. Some highlights were:-

●Supervising tellers and incharge of training and evaluating their work, assisting the branch manager with employee welfare, work schedules, operations and inventory management.

●Improved customer satisfaction by finding creative solutions to over deliver on their expectations.

●Supervised the process of user data confidentiality including their banking records to avoid potential data breaches.

●Consistently received very high customer satisfaction feedback, averaging 9/10 over the last year, compared to 8.5/10 for the overall branch.

Citibank NA Los Altos, CA July 2016 - January 2017

Teller

This was my first operations job at a bank. And the responsibility of managing people’s money made me recognize the value of trust, commitment and the need for personal attention to operational processes. This helped me gain the trust of some of the bigger branch clients in the short span of 6 months that I worked here. Some of these clients opened new business accounts at Tri Counties Bank when I moved there as the Assistant Branch Manager. My main responsibilities at Citi were:-

●Managed opening and closing times for the main branch.

●Started with managing daily cash worth $5K and within 3 months, was moved up to the maximum limit of $20K a day. This was mainly on the back of my ability to fill in for a full time teller during her maternity leave.

●Examined checks for identification and endorsement.

●Verified amounts and integrity of every check or funds transfer.

●Increased knowledge of banking products and services by actively participating in available training classes and workshops offered to employees.

●Responsible for routine transactions like, deposits, withdrawals, payments and cashier's cheque Processed an average of 40 transactions a day.

●Participated and cleared the Citibank online teller training course
