DIGITAL MILEAGE PROJECTOR

Normal existing meter are Analog meter. The one draw back in this meter are we cannot know that exact fuel quantity in the tank. In this project the exact fuel quantity is displayed in the digital form and also speed of the vehicle, how much distance the vehicle has been traveled and further kilometer for available fuel quantity like these information also displayed in the LCD display. In this project proximity sensor is fixed in the wheel. When the wheel is rotating the proximity sensor gives the pulse to the micro controller. Inside the counter will count that pulse from this we can easily calculate the revolution per minute (RPM). If you multiply into hour we can calculate the revolution per hour by which we can measure speed of the vehicle.

Hydraulic jack is a device used invariably in the lifting of heavy machinery and equipment. With the industrial development taking place rapidly, the use of hydraulic Jacks of different capacities is bound to increase in the years to come.

MARKET POTENTIALITY:

This equipment is a necessary item for Automobile Servicing Centers, Engineering Industries, material handling equipment manufacturers, Heavy structural fabricators etc. and as such market potential for this item is considered good.

Final project

“STAIR CLIMBING WHEEL CHAIR”, the project aims at designing a wheelchair capable of climbing staircases with manual effort. This project is inspired by many projects done earlier on the concept of climbing stairs

by wheelchair, but the modifications we are planning to do are;

(i) Simpler operation mechanism, the motion of the wheelchair is operated mechanically.

(ii) Reduction in the overall cost.

(iii) Use of worm gear for the rotation of the shaft. The main conceptual elements that have been proposed to improve this idea are mainly to simplify the mechanism and

make it work using human effort. The conceptual design, preliminary design, are being done and explained in the

report. The report also contains about materials to be used and design aspects and constraints that we have to keep in

mind while designing. Some of the drawings relating to our project are drawn. The model of wheelchair which helped

us in getting an idea of this project are shown in the project. Achievements & Awards
