1)Redesign and Prototyping of Clipper machine.
Redesigned a Clipper Machine (used for clipping the bags in food processing industry, and packaging industry) by reducing the weight of the machine by 38.5% and number of the parts by 42%. The cost of the machine was reduced by 40~50% by adapting new Process in manufacturing the Clipper Machine parts.
2)Design and Prototyping of Lightest & Strongest Automation Tools.
Redesigned some of the components of automation tooling components used in automotive companies like Volks Wagon, Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Audi Cars etc. All the designed products in the Tool were designed 20% lighter than competitors’ new generation light weight products. AutoDesk Inventor is used for modeling the product and validated through Ansys.
This Project was taken up for prototype and manufacturing feasibility were ensured.
3)Material Handling Gripper Design and Simulation.
Tasks:
Designing of the Material handling Gripper starting from concept to detailing.
Simulating the End Effectors movement by using “DMU workbench in Catia-V5” in the Press-shop and Welding line.
Reducing the process cycle time of the Robot End Effectors.
Simulated the Pneumatic clamp mechanisms to monitor certain required parameters.
