I have excellent skills in the field of welding, including: HTPE Plastic pipe welding, Arc-Welding (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron), CO2 Welding (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium) and Tig Welding (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium). My techniques regarding all the metal welding include: vertical-up, horizontal, wash-down, over-head and flat welding. I have a RED SEAL qualification (Olifantsfontein) for Boiler making. I can read plans and drawings and can also do hand drawings and plans including the estimation of materials needed. I am also qualified as a Working at Heights- Level 1 Technician”. Basic rigging- SAQA unit Standard ID- 14706(NQF Level 2). HIRA- SAQA unit Standard – 120330 (NQF Level 3) SAP Tracking. KBC Supervisor course and training. Firefighting training. Safety, fast and high- quality work are all at the top of my priority list. I worked as Head Boiler maker, working with and supervising over 54 (permanent and flexi) workers and I was second in charge.
