Accountability:

Lead, develop and execute large cross-functional category strategies through the sourcing and procurement process based on current market conditions and business environment with the goals and objectives of internal stakeholders

Articulate and gain alignment from Senior Management on the implementation of sourcing strategies

Create and Execute fair and competitive purchasing processes using multiple RFx options

Chair and/or present to all levels of the organization from kick off meetings to contract communication handover post RFx award

Responsible for the development, implementation and management of supplier relationship to ensure ongoing support.

Develop and lead negotiation strategies aligned with business to completion while pursuing full value and mitigating risks

Negotiate, create and manage contracts to term of agreement

Regular audits to ensure contracts are being adhered to during full cycle implementation from planning to close out

Ensure all documents are duly executed with all necessary supporting documents

Analyze financials, market risk, supply risk for each project for best value and longevity

In depth knowledge of legal services contracts as well as building commercial terms and conditions to effectively negotiate and draft legal language

Work with Legal Counsel to resolve commercial terms that do not contradict Procurement Global Norms

Drive results through analytics, business acumen, personal leadership and developing business cases to support sourcing initiatives

Consolidate spending and provide leadership to achieve organization outcomes while ensuring longevity of polices, core values and anticorruption review are upheld and adhered to at all times.

Manage Purchase Orders: goods and services including but not limited to updating prices, delivery, expediting and resolving invoicing disputes

RFP,RFQ and RFI creation execution and reviews for bids request for quotes based on site requirements

Continually monitor and report weekly/monthly/quarterly contract failures, contract disruptions, backlogs, PO rejection and PO cancellations

Work with suppliers in respect to scheduling requirements and on time delivery especially during Planned Maintenance Period (PMP). Mines shut down operations for major overhaul repairs (18 month rotation)

Placement of order to support site requires per category

Provide training sessions and create presentations to Operations as required

Mentor fellow Analyst’s on Services contract (requisition review, department kick-off meeting(s), review scope of work, technical appendices required for each bid, create pricing schedules, site visit sign in sheets, addenda’s etc.)

Assist Supervisor in preparing and maintaining meeting materials, business presentations and other department files

Analyze and support new demands, working with other departments to ensure the quality of the information

Coordinate/organize vendor related meetings quarterly/bi-annual meetings. Prepare agenda, clarification questions and distribute meeting minutes

AKAR - Acting Key Account Representative Ontario Operations: triaged calls / emails from end users requesting updates on contract, requisition status, catalogue issues etc.

Returns (RMA`s) 2015 thru 2017 Ontario Operations received $10.3 million in credits (core RMA`s, furniture, stationary, construction supplies, underground shadow inventory etc.…).
