2012 – Current

Cannabis Extraction Consultations –Eden Labs HiFlo/FX CO2 Extraction Systems and Post-processing Operating in a private medical cannabis processing facility, Eden Labs loaned me their HiFlo prototype (Eve). In learning the system, I helped write the user manual for the future models of the HiFlo systems. With that experience, I started Garden Extracts consultation services. Eden’s CEO encouraged my input for design changes on the system, which they implemented, based client experiences. A consultation package helps guide licensed cannabis companies in developing a cGMP compliant CO2 extraction facility. Provide cGMP SOP manuals for lab safety, manufacturing records, base edibles, beverage, tinctures, topical and vape cartridge oils. As well, I assist cannabis facilities in trouble shooting down system appliances and teach extraction technicians to maintain facilities for optimal extraction performance.

Black Diamond Cannabis, Black Diamond, WA

o Use the HiFlo 5L5Kpsi system (Elvira) with associated post-processing. The product goal was to make a full plant extract that included utilizing chlorophyll similar to Rick Simpson’s Oil.

The Market Garden LLC - Monroe, WA

o Use the HiFlo 20L2KPSI (Great White) and the 10L Winterizer Kit to make vape oils and distillate. Utilized robotic cartridge filler from Wiscoo for filling 100 vape cartridges at a time

Timeless Herbal Care, Brownsville, Jamaica

o Operating on a double diesel motor generator that fed electricity the 5L5KPSI HiFlo appliances.

Harmony Farms, Lacey, WA

o They began their extraction lab with a HiFlo 5L2KPSI and quickly upsized to the 20L to meet sales demand, also use the 10L Winterizer kit for post-processing

Agrijuana LLC, Battleground, WA

o Use the HiFlo 20L2KPSI and the 10L Winterizer Kit to make vape oils, distillate and topicals

NLV Organics LLC, Las Vegas, NV

o Began with an Eden Labs 5L5KPSI HiFlo then quickly upsized to the 20L HiFlo to accommodate the oil demand of adding edibles to their product menu.

Mule Extracts, Portland, OR

o HiFlo 20L2KPSI, ODA hemp CBD extraction facility transferred to OLCC THC licensed processor facility.

Sun Bloom LLC Seattle, WA

o FX 20L2Kpsi system with a 2L degasser vessel and water valve manifold

Marigold Products and Sensi Cannabis Retail, Kingston Jamaica o Product and Business Development

o Consultation working with owners to develop SOP’s and recipe’s to be reviewed and accepted by the Ministry of Health. Created and taught Process SOP’s for BHO extraction, dried ice hash, ethanol distillation with a 50L rotovap and short-path fractional distillation. Assembled 30L BHO system that had no instructions and missing parts. Products created sourcing ingredients and supplies locally. Cannabis terpene and cannabinoid education for Sensi Bud tenders prior to store grand opening. The Sensi store is connected to the Peter Tosh Museum in Kingston

Created process traceability tracking that received exemplary review from the OLCC Verification of Compliance

Lead in collaborating with teammates to prepare for OHSA review to put in place safety measures marked as Serious from previous proactive review

Lead in collaborating with teammates to ensure fire codes for equipment and HVAC were met in the facility prior to Fire Marshall inspection.

Installed equipment and streamlined processes that increased CO2 extraction to oil production from 3,000g per month to 32,000g per month. Created white-board production schedule transitioned to Monday’s Production software to include packaging and ingredient inventory tracking.

Identified and implemented equipment and efficient distillation processes that increased cannabis strain specific essential oil yields from 2.5g (0.5%) per hour to 40g (2.5%) per hour

Helped develop and refine all of Mule Extracts products o CBD Tinctures – created an exquisite flavorful profile o CBD Muscle rub – identified redundant ingredients in original formula saving 0.60 per unit o Vape Cartridges – perfect blending of both oven and steamed distilled strain specific essential oils

Created Muleshine 250mg/1oz. cannabis syrup in 4 flavors – pineapple, citrus, cider and cherry. Both pineapple and citrus ranked in top 10 of cannabis beverage sales in the state of Oregon

Created Smackers lip balm utilizing the cannabis plant wax in a perfect 1:1 of CBD to THC

Created the Mule Muscle Stick utilizing the same pain soothing essential oils in the salve but incorporating the plant wax for a harder consistency
