Research Assistant - 2013-2016
Dr. Juan Arroyo, Provo UT
Using the scientific method, I actively participated in researching preeclampsia and IUGR, both in pathways to induce it and drugs to reverse it. I worked as Rat Group Leader, I conducted research, wrote and implemented procedural instructions and with overseeing responsibilities, delegated various research tasks.
I was highly fortunate to contribute important results to a published manuscript. Our paper provides important insights into the physiological relevance of the mTOR and 4EBP1 pathways. Of particular significance, our team’s findings provide insight to possible treatment pathways and preventive measures for patients experiencing IUGR and preeclampsia.
