RESPONSIBILITIES (QUALITY & NABL Accredited LAB)

Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.

Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.

Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.

Approve the right products or reject defectives.

Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.

Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance.

To ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.

Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.

Lead regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality.

In conjunction with the Supplier Quality Assurance function, reduce the effect of non-conforming supplier materials on the production area quality.

Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.

Calibration of the testing equipment’s form the external NABL accredited labs.

Responsible to conduct the DRDO/NABL/ and other certifications audits.

Responsible for properly maintaining records in all formats (CARE, Excel, Hardcopy of Files, PPT specific to production, quality & LAB as and when required)

Responsible to conduct PDI (Pre Dispatch Inspection) as per the compliance sheet and supply order terms.

Responsible to maintain the quality standards as per the ISO 9001:2015 & 17025:2017 and carry out the desktop and physical NABL audits for the continuous compliance of NABL guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES (PRODUCTION)

Responsible for timely production, delivery, acceptance, training, etc.

Planning and organizing production schedules.

Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.

Supervising the work of junior staff and organizing relevant trainings sessions.

Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes.

Testing of optical parameters like, FOV, Magnification, Diopter, Range and Resolution.

Responsible to conduct the proto type testing, sampling testing of products.

Operation of environment chamber, Nitrogen Purging machine, IR blackbodies, Collimators, Auxiliary Telescope, Diopter Telescope, multimeters. Vernier calipers, micrometers, CRO, Instrument testing scale, battery capacity tester, DC power supply.
