Minor Project:Heart Rate Sensor

The heart rate sensor measures our heart rate in beats per minute using an opical LED light source and an LED light sensor. The light shines through our skin, and the sensor measures the amount of light that reflects back. The light reflections will vary as blood pulses under our skin past the light. Main project:Extraction of cinnamon oil for reducing insulin level Diabetic Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder as increased dramatically over the years and the trend is continuing at an alarmic rate. Diabetic Mellitus is the most common of the endocrine illness. Cinnamon is one medicinal universal plant which has been used daily by people all over the world, which has the probable to decrease the growth of diabetes and its problem.By using the herbal products we can treat naturally and it controls the risk factors. Cinnamon oil lowers blood sugar levels and has a powerful anti-diabetic effect. Cinnamon has been shown to reduce fasting blood sugar levels having a potent anti-diabetic effect at 1-6 grams or 0.5-2 teaspoons per day. To extract the cinnamon oil from the crushed powder of the cinnamon. we use soxhlet extraction method and evaporate the extraction of cinnamon to obtain the crude of cinnamon. Since there are more number methods for extracting the herbs, we prefer the soxhlet extraction method because of its beneficial needs. After the evaporation of extracted cinnamon the obtained crude is processed along with the vegetable oil to provide the exact result of cinnamon oil, that will be very much apt for the intake of the diabetic patients.
