Planning and budgeting of Project Purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.

Inviting and allotting tenders, Sending enquiries to Suppliers & Contractors, Receiving quotations

Study the techno commercial implications and prepare comparative statements, Obtaining techno commercial clarifications and base level discussions

Clear understanding of applicability of statutory taxes and duties, including conditions of import

Preparation of order with order specification and commercial details

Expedition and follow up on delivery schedule, Vendor follow up & Transport freight fixation & coordination

Coordination with plant for technical clarifications, Material receipt & payment follow up/ prioritizing

Release stage by stage payment to Contractors & Machinery suppliers based on MRN/ SRN

Execute the order meeting all statutory requirements. Fund flow and fund management, Record Management. Developing reports on Project Procurement and usage of material for top management.

Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan. Procurement of material from national and international market.

Development of alternative local sources for imported materials which helps in cost saving.

Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.

Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.

Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.

Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.

For Stores Management

Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation, Material Verification, MRN, Bill Passing & Vendor Payments follow up, Way Bill issue, Transport Follow up,

Implementing Standard Operating Procedures within the warehouse.

Regularizing material receipts and ensuring the fluidity of stocks from warehouse to stores.
