I possess a M.Sc. in Agri-Food Safety and Quality Assurance; BSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Management with two minors in Communication and Extension and Entrepreneurship from the University of the West Indies.

I have gained significant practical and managerial experience in the capacity of Quality Officer and was promoted to Quality Manager at Goddard Catering Group (GCG) Port -of-Spain Trinidad, which has the unique international IBP of being HACCP certified where I led the GCG team to successfully obtain 4 consecutive years of HACCP Certification by Intertek setting the gold standard in the catering industry of Trinidad.

My previous roles as a Quality Control Technician at Santa Rosa Foods Limited (ALBROSCO) and as an Invasive Alien Species Technician at the Ministry of Food Production, Land and Marine Affairs, Research Division, Centeno has provided me with techniques and an understanding of entomology and food safety with GMPs. While at the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), UWI, I researched and delivered the genetic modification of the Moruga Scorpion Hot Pepper for sale throughout the Caribbean. These notable roles have afforded me the opportunity to be efficient in a laboratory and Production line environments.

My academic and industry qualifications include certification in ISO22000:2005 & PAS 220:2008 FSMS Internal Auditing, Occupational Health &Safety (OSHA) and Hazardous Materials Transportation Compliance, Safety & Security International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG). With 10 years’ experience in the Food industry where my skills and experience in this sphere are delivered currently both in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana and to various regional and international clients, including among others, Nestle, Caribbean Airlines, United Airlines, COPA Airlines, BP and Shell.

With intricately conversant industry knowledge I am able to deliver on your company’s mandate.
