DESIGNATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Whilst at St Ives, I relieved in 2 different positions but Front of house was the main position

1)Assistant Floor Manageress

Assistant Floor Manager duties include managing day to day running of the hotel; dealing with guest and guest complaints; cash-ups, day-end reconciliations and cash handling. Ensuring function & conferencing set ups are done, reporting and following up on maintenance issues, supervising staff and dealing with staff issues

2)Receptionist and Reservationist

Reception duties include: working on Semper, operating switchboard (answering, transferring and taking messages), taking reservations for accommodation and restaurant bookings, receiving and checking guests in and out, daily banking, hosting of guests; communication with the departments; receiving and dealing with complaints. Worked with Semper system and nightsbridge as well as Bookings.com for accommodation reservations.

1) Functions coordinator

Functions include weddings, private and government conferences (day and 24hr), gala dinners, private celebrations and other events.
