JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR OPERATOR

Operating gas plant, and adjusting levels of temperature, pressures, vacuum, and flow of the gas as per the specifications.

Observing the operations of the gas plant machinery, checking its configuration to detect any deviations and making appropriate corrections

Overseeing operations of other allied equipment such as compressors, heat engines, purifiers, collectors, etc.

Gas and Condensate Separation by Slug Catcher and Inlet Separators.

Gas De- hydration with TEG and its regeneration system.

Gas De-hydration with Molecular Sieves Adsorption and regeneration process.

Condensate Stabilization unit with overhead compressor.

Equipment handled in sulphur recovery unit: Pumps & compressors(centrifugal & reciprocating), heater(Furnace), Heat

Exchangers, Fractionation Column, Strippers, Vacuum Column, Hydro-Cracking Reactor, steam Turbines, fans, Blowers, Ejectors.

Routine checkup all parameters

Performing the following Task:

To planning and performing pre-commissioning activities like hydro test, Flushing, equipment inspection, Mechanical piping loop clearance, steam blowing, pigging rotomol flushing, cardboard blasting etc. (whenever require for the pipe cleaning)

To carry out of plant controlling systems and routine changeover of pumps and PSV, compressor also. (Start-up/ shut down of compressor after start up job.

Trouble shooting/ changing control system/ communication with panel/sup. Sample collecting activity.

Having good and keen experience about low boiling point gas separation like Ethylene, Ethane, Methane, Hydrogen with the cryogenic equipment, cold boxes, expander, decontamination of gases.

To write down pressure/temp/flow readings for critical parameters, routine inspection, monitoring operating conditions in the daily shift. Reporting to supervisor for any abnormality. Identify the problems and its source and determines the best solution. Handle the plant when any emergency and criticality in plant with instruction of supervisor. Reporting about near miss, incidents to the supervisor.

Perform remote field operations of the pipeline and facilities in co ordination with the control room.

Understand and have knowledge of the company emergency response procedures, LOTO procedures and perform emergency response duties and tasks, Risk assessments.

To respond immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include gas leaks and fires etc. And follow relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instruction.

Maintains continuous radio contact with senior operators to keep them informed of operating conditions to request manual adjustments of equipment, to carry out on site readings and convey instructions given by shift supervisor.

To operate pumps, compressors, turbines, storage tanks, separators, furnaces, pipeline, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves with as per SOP and HSE policy.

Operating cryogenic equipment and process(-150 deg temp) for ethylene recovery unit.

Compressor turbine solo run, compressor air trial, lube oil skid flushing, lube oil turbine pump (screw pump) start up with no load run to load run, screw/ reciprocating compressor knowledge also.

Commissioning alkylation reactor and separators with olefin and C4 presence of H2SO4 catalyst and lined up with compressor. Maintaining daily logs and maintain of charge hand over take over with reliever person.

Oil gathering manifold (OGM), three phase separators, and crude oil heaters, Oil Heater, Dry and wet oil tank, Booster pumps etc…

Degassing boots, dehydrators, oil storage tanks, disposal water tanks, fresh water tanks.

CRUDE OIL SEPARATION:

SULPHUR RECOVERY UNIT (SRU);CLAUS PROCESS

Acid gas is coming from the sweetening until to recover the Sulfur. Familiar with control of maintain the incinerator, knock out drums, oxidizer, and absorber, adding catalytic reagents and liquid Sulfur is transferred to Sulfur storage tank by transfer pumps.

GAS DEHYDRATION UNIT

Natural Gas Dehydration(8 trays), Coalesce filter, Glycol Contactor, Glycol flash drum, Cartridge type filter operation, Lean/ Rich Glycol Contactor, Glycol flash drum, Charcoal, Cartridge type filter operation, Lean / Rich Glycol Heat Exchanger, Glycol /Gas Heat Exchanger, All filter changing, Glycol Regeneration, Still Column, Glycol pumping, Tank Level, Dew point maintaining (khan Sensor ). Taking of plant shut-down and start –up operation. Pre & super Heater are for fuel gas. Heating & Heat Exchangers.Maintain the Re boiler Temperature (170 c). Fuel gas, stripping.

TURBINE:

Involved in minor, intermediate and major servicing and inspections.

GE Gas Turbine Model No: LM2500 Frame 5.

Rotor replacements bearing inspection and bearings renewal.

Nozzle clearance setting, stuffing box carbon packing’s renewal.

Performing cold and hotalignment.

CRUDE DISTILATION UNIT;

This is primary separation of crude to produce straight run blend stock of distillate product. And feed stocks for other downstream process units .The yield of crude distillation column is naphtha, kerosene, light gas oil, heavy gas oil & atmospheric residue

GAS COPRESSION UNIT:

Familiar in startup, operation and trouble shooting of gas compression units. Good knowledge of Surge control system, Oil and dry gas seal system, Lube and hydraulic oil system, Fuel gas conditioning skid, etc.

PUMP OPERATION:

Operations of Centrifugal & Reciprocating pump open Start up& shut down

Maintenance seal check, Cavitation, Suction & Discharge pressure check-up, pulsation chamber, Strainer operation coupling

Lube pump operation, oil level maintenance, and vibration check.. Shaft vibration & Heat check-up,

Speed setting chemical dose pump operation, submersible pump operation, trouble shooting, etc.

Operations and Maintenance to single Pump and multistage Pumps. Experience in Dismantling and assembling of Pumps Replacing seal, Packing, Bearing etc.

CENTRAL PRODUCTION FACILITY AND TANK FARM;
