Healthy Campus Intern June 2020 — Present

UC Riverside, Healthy Campus Initiative

● Conducted focus groups with UCR faculty, staff, and students on wearing face masks during COVID-19.

● Performed data analyses to conclude results which will aid UC Riverside in its decision making process in returning to campus safely.

● Managed a project for the Health Eating/Nutrition subcommittee by creating and editing recipe videos and social media marketing content to promote healthy eating and importance of nutritional value.

● Recruited and onboarded students to become ambassadors for the Clearing The Air Program. Lifeguard and Swim Instructor September 2018 — Present UC Riverside, Student Recreation Center

● Maintained the safety of patrons in the facility; acted immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.

● As a member of the Leadership Team, help with the recruitment and training of new staff, and plan campus wide events by coordinating with other organizations to market and promote the Student Recreation facility.

● As a swim instructor, teach drowning prevention techniques and educate students about sun and water safety.

● Developed lesson plans for swimmers ages 2-10, conducted swim lessons, and performed evaluations to determine progress in private and group lessons.
