Family Nurse Practitioner Partners Urgent Care, Watertown, MA 2017– 2020

Evaluated, diagnosed, and treated up to 40 patients per day, ages three to geriatric, with acute and urgent injuries or illnesses in a fast paced, urgent care setting. Conducted targeted health assessments including diagnostic testing, when appropriate, and leverage findings, in concert with prior medical history, to establish accurate diagnoses. Performed in-clinic procedures including repair of lacerations, splinting, I&D of abscesses, and performance of DOT physical examinations. When needed, facilitated referrals to hospitals, medical centers, or specialist providers for higher level care to improve outcomes.
