PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I have recently graduated with a Second-Class Higher Tier Honours
(2:1), in Marketing and Communications for Fashion and I consider myself to be a very organised and highly motivated team member. I am committed to pursuing a career in marketing and consumer focused business which has applications across many different industry sectors.
I have worked throughout my time as a student, gaining varied experience that I believe will benefit my future employer and my transition to full time employment. I have experience in the retail, hospitality, beauty and insurance sectors.
I have my own small beautician business, which I enjoy owing to the client relationships and service skills I am developing. I am also gaining valuable experience in understanding customer needs and customer satisfaction. Alongside this I have taken part in numerous internships within marketing and admin roles.
During my time at university I was able to establish a strong understanding of the different areas of marketing and I am keen to become part of a team where I can develop my skills and add value as a team member.

I was asked back to DTW1991 to assist with an overhaul of their annual BIBA marketing and broker event. This is a national event supported by a major networking campaign to recruit new brokers for DTW1991 products. I was able to develop networking experience including development and handling of data through a targeted email campaign.
The project was very results driven and the data that I developed was used by the DTW1991 executive team to assess results against their targets.
My role included the development of a specialised travel insurance exhibitor stand as well as the design and selection of merchandise for existing and new clients. The merchandise continues to be used for new UK travel brokers.
I organised and project managed a corporate cricket event for the company, with timed emails and payment management. Waitress, 08/2015 to 06/2016 and 06/2017 to 01/2019 Walnuts Restaurant
This was a long-term local part time job working 3-4 days per week.
While working here I gained the trust of the owners and was required to open the shop, work alone and in a team environment.
This enabled me to gain a lot of independence as my role included all aspects of the customer experience and setting up the restaurant for the day.
