Android developer with five plus years of experience in the IT industry. Developed android apps in banking, ecommerce, social media and retail domain. • Description:Corporate banking app by QIB Bank, to address the financial requirements of Corporate and SME customers.

• Accomplishments:

Took ownership to build code from scratch to production go-live phase, being an integral resource in entire project SDLC.

Implementingclient-server fingerprint authentication for Android and IOS, using asymmetric key encryption,with server side implementation using Kotlin, eased user login process from the app.

Implementing Jetpack Paging library for efficient loading of bulk transaction data in app, gave seamless customer experience while lazy loading data.

Implementing firebase push notifications for customers, helped notifying customers for any pending corporate approval requests.

Consuming APIs in parallelusing Rx-Kotlin operators to load data asynchronously, helped loading dashboard data faster, enhancing customer experience.

• Accomplishments:

Implementing ‘scan to order’ feature helped customers in placing orders by scanning product barcode from the app.

Implementing Kotlin Coroutines accomplished asynchronous programming results better than threads, increasing app speed.

Driving team to migrate some modules from Java to Kotlin eliminated 80% of null pointer exceptions.

Developed app from scratch, with learning of complete SDLC cycle.

Implementing dependency injection with Dagger2 made it easy to unit test code.

• Description:App is a QR code based payment solution for PNB bank merchants, offering a secure way to receive payments from customers.

• Technologies: Java, XML, Data Binding, Retrofit, Dagger2, Junit, Butterknife, MVP, SSL Pinning.

• Accomplishments:

Secured sensitive customer data transferred between app and bank server from network level breaches

(intercepted transmitted data using Burp Suite software) with SSL pinning.

Using a single recycler view with multiple layouts helped customers browse their transaction history in the form of a consolidated list.

• Description:Chatting application offered by N-gage India Pvt ltd.

• Technologies: Java, XML, Google Faces API, Butterknife, MVP.

Learnt working with android graphics and asynchronous programming to achieve concurrency.

Developed cartoon inflated face masks for face images in n-gage messenger, without use of any purchased library. Received client appreciation for the same and felicitated quarter performer for the last quarter of 2016. Personal projects:

• Accomplishments:

Using TDD approach reduced the occurrence of errors in testing phase, as unit tests help cover most test cases.

Covering functional tests with Espresso required less manual testing.

Configuring project with Jenkins for CI/CD helped me accomplish integrating changes to the code and distribution of APK to testers in automated manner.
