MANAGEMENT

Experienced in management of enteral and parenteral nutrition in severely compromised patients. I participated as a member of a multi-disciplinary teams consisting of a doctor, pharmacist, dietician and two nurses. Assisted with inpatient as well as outpatient nutritional support.

COMMUNICATION

As Charge Nurse spearheaded care of OB/Nursery/NICU making sure staffing was adequate and seeing if there were any immediate crisis in care of patients.

Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas was the first to go live with the Epic Electronic Record. I was a superuser and traveled to different hospitals within the Mercy system helping with their transition to the new electronic record.

LEADERSHIP

Lead preceptor for new students at the Women’s and Children Unit at Mercy Health Systems.

Helped to deliver first baby at the new Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas as well as implementing new electronic record (EPIC) and new labor and delivery monitoring system.
