Successfully launched 70 NPI products to production in a 3-month period at our Penang, Malaysia factory. The customer was threatening to disengage due to previous late launches. Led the implementation of a management system specific to NPI, using the Austin site as a model. Result: All launches were completed on time with high-quality levels. Customer Satisfaction Index improved 15 points.

Led one significant quality improvement “kaizen” project each month across all geographies by overseeing an inclusive process of involving all workers in defining current state, identifying any shortcomings, and implementing solutions collectively in order to enhance the operation in total.
Drove customer satisfaction from 80% to 95% while serving as General Manager at company’s facility in Malaysia, met daily with customer onsite executives and Flextronics management to correct issues with delays on the NPI launch schedules.
Stabilized and increased profit margin 150% at the company’s China facility, acting as General Manager of a 5,000-member workforce that generated revenues in excess of $2B per year.
