I also streamlined the number of sales reportorial from a high of 12 reports to a mere 7 report forms without taking away the essences of the information being shared to management. And, I introduced regular business reviews during Saturdays for each of the plant sales operations group. As SOH: I was able to achieve the following: an increase in the Daily Average Sales from 54,500 cases (Jan 08) to 62,000 cases daily average (Dec. 08). Translating it to peso value, at average P104/case, that would equate to P6,448,000 per day coming from P5,668,000 or an increase of P780,000 sales per day average. Improved distribution from 64% (14,080 outlets) to 84% (18,480 outlets) gained within the six months period (Total outlet universe of the area: 22,000 outlets). This translated to a gain of an additional market share of 9% (combined for all product lines) from 40% to 49% average for all outlets by the end of 2008 for the whole area.
