As the Nurse Recruiter, I was responsible for the administration, management and evaluation of the Nursing Recruitment and Retention Program. I recruited highly qualified nurses and support staff to meet the complex medical challenges facing Veterans and their families. I also plan, coordinate and evaluate internal and external recruitment and retention programs for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses (RNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and other nursing staff.
