Technical lead directing fast-paced distributed development team, customization, and support of in-house SaaS implementation of Microfocus Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system serving over 20K users in large telecom company.

Automated CI/CD activities using Jenkins pipeline-initiated Linux system level scripts to migrate code releases through development, QA, and staging systems for Agile and waterfall-based processes, with the final goal of a single point deployment capability achieved, saving hundreds of man/hours per release.

Principal Software Engineer, Software Configuration Management (SWCM), Advanced Programs, Software Configuration Management Tools Subject Matter Expert

Managed Software Configuration for several projects within Advanced Programs where I was responsible for the tailoring of SWCM related duties depending upon the tier level of the individual project effort.

Managed release of the products including version documentation, change control and validation information for full audit purposes.

Implemented and maintained helpdesk function for entire SWCM group within RMS which consisted of over 50 SWCM representatives who in turn supported several thousand developers on over 100 SWCM databases.

Designed, Implemented and Automated an intra-corporate software development synchronization system capable of maintaining software code synchronization between development groups within RMS and development groups outside Raytheon which utilized different toolsets for their code repositories.

Built, troubleshot, and maintained code build between multiple language code base, c++, Java, Javascript, bash, etc, synchronization and report automation for two advanced programs needing code synchronization between unclassified and classified systems.

Acted as SWCM Tools Subject Matter Expert (SME), and as such became final response for SWCM Tool related problems and special projects. Held role as representative in Center level Change Control Board projects and activities as well as being lead support resource for SWCM Tools related issues throughout the Raytheon Corporation.(not limited to Missile Systems).

Led special projects that redefined the Change Management standard package to be incorporated by all programs, redesigned and implemented the second iteration of the internal helpdesk solution for SWCM and related issues, and assisted in the defining and implementation of a team of highly trained SWCM professionals dedicated to urgent issue resolution and accelerated project completion related to Telelogic Synergy tools. As Tools SME, acted as Raytheon liaison to Telelogic with respect to the future of the tools and their capabilities, in order to be sure that Raytheon needs were addressed by the vendor’s development groups.

Designed, created and implemented a specialized Tools portal interface to maintain a fully searchable database of information regarding all in-house developed tools and data-sets. These tools to be version controlled, and access to them will be monitored, documented, reported and authorization controlled (if required), through a single system based on Telelogic Change Synergy.

Worked with several groups distributed across the entire Raytheon corporation in an effort to standardize SWCM related processes throughout the corporation.

Contributed in GEIA standards definition body in the definition and revisioning of key government developed Configuration Management standards as they apply to Software Development and Release.

Defined, Implemented and maintained Telelogic Synergy/CM based source code management system for new project team of over 100 project members.

Created and implemented a full CM system backup process and infrastructure to ensure < 10 minute recovery and failover for all development databases.

Defined and implemented change control procedures related to all Automotive division software releases. Automated all build and release steps for software products within my control via scripting and cgi based web enabling of tools.
