Team Assistant to the Commercial Payments Head (Exco Member) and Team, ABSA Commercial Payments – December 2012 to 30 June 2019
Providing the following support to the Head of the Department and MANCO members.
Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments.
Control access to the key members. Receive and screen visitors in a friendly manner.
Screening mail, calls, e-mails, filing and responding where appropriate, entertainment arrangements, refreshments, reception, parking arrangements etc.
Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
Organizing events and conferences.
Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
Managing databases and filing systems.
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients.
Collating, submitting and filing expenses.

Organizing the manager’s personal commitments including travel or childcare.
