WORK EXPERIENCE

Grand Ronde Health and Wellness Center Staff Pharmacist May 2018–November 2020

While working at Grand Ronde I was part of an interactive health center including medical, dental, optical, and mental health practices. My regular duties were to ensure medications were dispensed correctly and safely to our patients, counseling, working with the doctors to optimize medication therapies and working with my assigned intern. I was also part of a team responsible for identifying and treating patients with Hepatitis C. Rite Aid Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist/PIC

May 2012–January 2015 and March 2015-May 2018

Working for Rite Aid I was responsible for ensuring prescriptions were filled correctly, checking for drug interactions, counseling patients, helping with OTC items, managing the pharmacy’s inventory and working with the intern. I also administered vaccinations and was CPR certified. My short stint as a PIC taught me how to keep the pharmacy compliant with board regulations and the paperwork required.
