Physician Assistant Post Graduate Resident – Atlanta VA Hospital Apr 2020 – Present.

This is a 12-month didactic and clinical educational experience focusing on PACT (Partnerships with veterans, Access to care using diverse methods, Co-ordinated care among team members and Team-based Care) concepts. Program is also based on clinical leadership, systems-based practice, chronic disease management, practice process improvement, patient engagement in their own care and seamless but timely transitions of care between primary and specialty care.

I also interpreted Pulmonary Function Tests, Chest X-rays and reviewed other imaging results like CT scans and used the results to make decisions on management of pulmonary disease.

I ordered and interpreted Lab studies, ordered imaging studies and came up with treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician and the patient.

Performed procedures and like thoracentesis and assisted in other procedures like endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy among others.
