My name is Michael Harrod W/M, **-**-****, I just retired in Sept. after working 42 years in police work, Longview PD 30 years, Gladewater PD 5 years and Hallsville PD for 3 years plus 3 years Military Police in the Army. While working for Longview PD I worked in patrol, traffic unit, bicycle unit, K-9 unit, crime scene investigation, and Community Police Unit. While with PD I was awarded Officer of the year in 1997, was a field training officer. While at Gladewater Police I was assigned to the Lake Warden position at Lake Gladewater until the position was elimated at which time I was assigned to the school resource officer position until I left. While working for Hallsville Police I was made Community Police Officer there. Prior to police work I worked store security for Target and was a jailer fir the Collin County Sheriff's Department. currently working part time as a security officer
