Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Post-contract functions, monthly valuations, project variance reports and Identification of claims for extra items of work at sites.

Responsible for maintaining Monthly payment status, Variation log, Sub-Contractor agreements& Payment log.

Floating Enquiries and following up for the Quote from the Vendors / Manufacturers / suppliers

Prepares detailed cost breakdown as per the scope including detailed material take off, activity wise resource requirements, subcontracts, indirect costs, etc.

Projecting of Project cost &Budget by liaison with cost control strategies.

Following-up with clients & consultants for Payment certificate and payment for the work done at site.

Following up for approval of Variations & Variations orders with the Consultants.

Responsibility for agreeing and recommending approval of contractual payments leading to the settlement of the “Final Account” for small and medium civil engineering schemes.

Knowledge of FIDIC, POMI for the purpose of documentation and discrepancy for various contractual claims.

Preparation of Schedules of Rates, Activity Schedules and associated contractual documentation.

Certification to the Sub-Contractor for the value of work done on monthly basis.

Responsible for managing all project costs from pitch to completion.

Undertaking costs analysis for building projects.

Supervision the construction activities at site

Preparation and submission of periodical progress report to the employer and senior management

Ensure that the quality of construction is built and maintained

Performed all aspects of field engineering assignments including the development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, construction methods and systems for the project

On completion of internal inspection of the completed work, originate the field inspection requests, so as to get the final work inspection approved by the consultant/engineer

Forecast manpower requirements and project details to planning department/Hr department and assist them in experience sourcing in accordance with the project requirements

Responsible for reviewing the performance of subcontractors to assure contract compliance, the application of accepted construction technology and standards and acceptable standardization of materials and supplies

Report and Liaise with senior engineers/officers and provide periodical reports and Co-ordination of the progress of construction activities
