SHEETMETALS – REINFORCEMENT DOOR - Tool Used: HyperMesh Description:
• After Importing Geometry, its clean-up was done. Extracting mid-surface from the geometry by manual mid-surface extraction method. After generating manual mid-surface again re- correcting the mid surface errors and connecting the surfaces which are not connected. As soon as mid-surface is ready mixed mesh was carried out on the component of element size as 4. First mesh is carried out from complicated region that is from narrow portion. After that quality-check is done on the meshed portion.

• After Geometric clean-up was done. Extracting mid-surface from the geometry by auto mid- surface. After generating mid-surface again re-correcting the mid surface errors. As soon as mid- surface is ready mixed mesh was carried out on the model of element size 3. First mesh is carried out with complicated region like dog house features and rest of the component is followed the meshed flow. After that quality-check is done on the meshed portion. 3D COMPONENTS:
TETRA MESH - PISTON BLOCK – Tool Used: Hypermesh
Description:
• After Importing the Geometry, the dimension of the component was analysed and component was studied carefully. Then Geometry clean up was done. After this the skin mesh was carried out using Trias and R-Trias. Initially the mesh was carried out in critical regions. After this quality-check is done on the entire component. After this tetramesh was executed and chord deviation was checked.
OTHER TETRA MESH COMPONENTS : Four Wheeler Axle, Crank Housing, Turbine Blade HEXA MESH - ARM BRACKET - Tool Used: Hypermesh
Description:
• After Importing the Geometry, the geometry must be analysed quickly about that component and the skin mesh was carried out in quad element only. Then using solid map option the skin mesh was carefully draged to the other lines or surface to get the 3D Solid map. Finally the edge deviation and free edges are checked and if there any mistakes to be found. It will be resolved using equvalance option.
