Experience in analysis of stress and strain effect on mechanical structure.
Meshing of cellular phone using auto meshing techniques for drop test.
Drop test of the meshed cellular phone model using Radioss FEA MODELING PROJECTS:
1. Project Title: FE modeling of plastic component with dog house. Tool Used: Hypermesh (Optistruct-solver)
Description:
Extraction of mid surface and performing geometry cleanup to remove unnecessary surface fillets, edge fillets and free edges.
Performing a 2D mixed mesh and checking if for connectivity and 2D quality.
Assigning midmesh thickness and checking the thickness properties.
Learned to perform manual mid mesh without creating mid surface. 2. Project Title: Coupled thermal analysis of tube with hot air at 500 0
C.
Tool Used: Hypermesh (Optistruct-solver), HyperView (post-processor) Description:
Create geometry and mesh it with 3D hexa mesh.
Create material and assign properties to those materials.
Performing steady state thermal analysis and coupling it with linear static analysis to find the behavior of the component under thermal loading. 3. Project Title: Modal analysis and crash test of bike chassis. Tool Used: Hypermesh (meshing) and Ansys (analysis). M.Tech in Thermal Power

4. Project Title: Light alloy wheel impact test
Tool Used: Solid works and LS-Dyna
Description:
Created model using Solid works and meshed in LS-Dyna
Wheel is placed at an angle of 13
0
Vertical and a striker is placed above it at a distance of 230mm.
Using LS-Dyna post processor we checked the amount of visible fracture(s) penetrate through a section of a centre member of the wheel assembly and checked whether the centre member separates from the rim.
5. Project Title: Quasi-static analysis on automotive vehicles – rear underrun protective device Tools Used: Solid works (modeling) and LS-Dyna (solver) Description:
Imported model and meshed using LS-Dyna
Assigning materials, property definition and load is applied at different position of RUPD.
Using LS-Dyna post processor we checked how RUPD resists the longitudinal forces applied. 6. Project Title: Modal analysis of grappler arm.
Tool Used: Hypermesh (Optistruct-solver), HyperView (post-processor) Description:
Performing geometry cleanup to remove unnecessary surface fillets, edge fillets and free edges.
Meshing the components using 1D, 2D (Mid-surface meshing) and 3D elements and maintaining connectivity using 1D connectors (bolts and rigids).
Assigning linear isotropic material and Solid property to the components.
Performing Free-Free and Constrained Modal analysis to extract the first 15 modes using Real Eigen Value Lanczos Method.
Post processing and interpreting the results.
Learned about assembly mesh.
Seating System Design Using LS-Dyna.
ECE R17 Head restrain performance test.
ECE R14 Seat belt anchorage test
ECE R94 Frontal collision
ECE R21 Head impact
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
1. Numerical analysis of fuel spray angle and swirl ratio on the emission reduction characteristics in a diesel engine.
Numerically Simulated and analyzed how spray angle and the swirl ratio affects in emissions in diesel engine and choose the best spray angle and the swirl ratio for the proper combustion and thereby reduces the emission.
Software’s- STAR- CD v-4.20, Solid Works.
2. CFD Analysis of an aircraft delta wing.
