Education

August 2019--Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, GPA 3.89 As part of the Master’s Program, I was required to take courses that not only cover the foundation of counseling, but also the techniques that a counselor can use with clients. I have completed 100 hours of practicum at Nuestra Clinica Del Valle and 600 hours of internship at UTRGV Counseling Center. In order to complete my practicum and internship hours I had to complete direct hours with clients and write individual and group counseling notes. During individual sessions, assessments were administered to clients and treatment plans were created in order to meet clients needs.

December 2016--Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Cum Laude Prior to graduation, I had to complete 360 practicum hours. I have experience working with people with disabilities due to completing my practicum hours with this specific population. Also, the classes that were required for this degree gave me the skill of writing case notes and doing intake interviews.

June 2013--High School Diploma,

Idea College Preparatory, GPA 4.0
