Developed research strategies and prepared proposals for clients. Supported clients regarding services and projects. Conducted grant research to locate grants opportunities appropriate for MPB. Drafted and finalized grant applications and cover letters to solicit grants and contributions. Planned events and special activities for the department including major events like Stop the Drop, MPB’s dropout prevention summit. Mississippi College, Office of the Registrar, Contract Document Scanner, Clinton, MS 2008-2010

Scanned confidential student records in the Office of the Registrar to get records uploaded to MC’s permanent database. This involved records for students that dated back decades and the volume exceeded 1 million records. Cleaned, scanned and shredded confidential employee documents dated back decades for the Office of Human Resources. All records had to be secured, scanned, and stored by a person trustworthy with highly confidential student and employee information.

SkyTel, Senior Manager Market Research, Clinton, MS 1997-2002 and 2004-2007 *

Conducted primary research, both qualitative and quantitative for new product development, customer satisfaction and geographic targeting of customers. Created analysis reports and delivered senior management presentations in useful actionable format. Oversaw fiscal accounting and budgeting activities associated with department and projects. Managed the customer database preparing reports on customer segments. Coordinated advertising, marketing, agency management, marketing research, collateral development, direct marketing, trade shows and sales support. Developed strategic marketing plans to support product initiatives.
