Responsible for the overall administrative, financial, and operations of a 260 employee Critical Access Hospital 501 (c) 3, 80-bed Long Term Care facility, 16 apartment Senior Housing facility, Rural Health Clinic (RHC), and two satellite outreach clinics. St. Aloisius Medical Center (SAMC) is one of eight healthcare affiliate facilities within the Sister of Mary of the Presentation Health System (SMPHS).

Significant Accomplishments:

Implemented a Provider Base Outpatient Clinic in seven weeks and recruited seven providers for staffing.

Financially turned around hospital to become financially sustainable

Collaborated with community members to assist with an economic development plan

Responsible for the overall administrative management and operations of a 250 employee publicly funded Critical Access Hospital including an attached 42-bed Extended Care facility. Fiscally responsible for $39 million in gross revenue and a net revenue of $3 million. Providing leadership for the development of healthcare services, promoting physician and community relationships. Strong emphasis on value-based and quality reimbursement strategies. Rapid Process Improvement areas to include the business office, medical supplies, office supplies, clinical and dietary workflows.

Significant Accomplishments:

Decreased organization’s Accounts Receivable from 80 days to 50 days; Gross Revenue increased from $34 Million to $39 Million; days Cash-On-Hand from 40 days to 81 days.

Recruited Nurse Anesthetists, Orthopedic Surgeon, Radiologist, Pulmonologist Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, Physician Assistant, and Physical Therapy Director.

Successfully developed and implemented a wound clinic and a two-bed sleep lab.
