• Optimize mixing and increase production of compounds using large scale mixers.

• Designed and fit recovery system between K6A Intermesh Mixer and 100” mill. This reduced drastically the amount of fly loss from mixer, huge cost savings.

• Designed a novel Polyurethane Wheel used for testing flooring wear. Calculated the hardness of PU used to simulate footwear. Also did studies on what initial surface roughness should be to simulate sole bottom abrasion.

• Application of advanced polymers processing principles like fill factors, variation in rotor speed, sidewall temperatures and more to achieve homogeneity in mixes.

Evaluate tires, rolling resistance, wear, noise etc.. via Tg of polymers used. Relate compounds used to specific tire post and tire performance. Take results from data obtained by instruments, listed below, and relate them to handling, noise & traction of tire.

Spearhead R & D assessing various rubber mixes. Specialty, crack Propagation (application of the Paris-power law), Endurance and Retread technology.
