Trading and Distribution: Medical Equipment’s and Consumables, Pharmaceuticals, Food, FMCG, Education and Veterinary. Position: Clearing & Forwarding Executive - Import and Export Duration: May 2015 – July 2020

Initially joined as Store Assistant – EDP & later promoted to Clearing & Forwarding Executive after 2 years. Duties & Responsibilities as Clearing & Forwarding Executive (March 2018 – July 2020)

To obtain rate quotes from transportation resources (Air, Sea & Road)

To negotiate rates with Freight forwarders.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in written with business team and warehouse.

To provide sales team with regular updates on shipments and monitor incoming supplies for quantity.

Manage all documentation associated with shipping duties. ( BL / AWB, INV, PL, COO, COA, HC etc)

Interface with vendors and clients to ensure proper delivery of shipment.

Resolving issues with suppliers regarding shipment documentation and INCO terms.

Prepare the cost sheet for each shipment and create the GRN.

Handling customs clearance documents.

Monitoring all import permits.

Communicate with clearance agents on daily basis regards to sort out any challenges during clearance.

Perform Administrative tasks: copying, filing, faxing, scanning.

Arrange the documents of service providers along with Invoice in order to submit to Finance team.

Follow up with finance team for the payments to the vendors, service providers are done according to payment terms.

Follow Manager’s instruction, do in an efficient way and feedback the result on time.

Operate as trained backup in Import and Export Managers absence.

Review daily shipment exceptions and resolve with service providers to ensure timely flow of freight.

Covering the Insurance for each shipment, Claims on damage from the Insurance co.

To prepare the monthly report for all inbound shipments. Duties & Responsibilities as Store Assistant - EDP (May 2015 – March 2018)

Ensured LPO have been punched on daily basis for appropriate invoice.

Accurate and timely invoicing of specific warehouse customer shipments as per sales order.

Verifying accuracy of pricing and matching of purchase orders to Invoice.

Ensure completion of customer invoicing, mailing, filing, electronic data processing and other related functions.

Completing credits for returns to customer accounts.

Capture the sales data and prepare the reports accordingly.

Coordinate with internal and external customers and maintain the stock level.

Constantly checking the Inventory in order to keep the minimum stocks available.

Handling distribution operations and ensure the dispatch has been according to the Invoice / Purchase orders.

Preparing the trip sheet for the delivery.

Transfer in and Transfer out, Store Issue and Sample request have been punched as per the approval from the In charge.

Assisted with month end closeout.

Tracking all the POD, s from the customer.

Monitoring GPS.

Working closely with sales team, supply chain and warehouse team.

Monthly reports on Distribution.

Fixed term Hires: Accounts Receivables

Duration: Oct 2013 – May 2014

Duties & Responsibilities:

Handling reconciliation of Telecom industries for payment made at different stores & through different modes.

Total number of stores is around 340+. Responsible for handling 60 Stores spread across states.

Email interactions between store manager for variance in cash, Eft & cheques. Eft consists of Debit Card and Credit card.

Regular telephonic interaction with store manager apart from emails with regards to any difference with receipt at store and the remittance done.

If there is no response for the emails, the issue is taken\escalated to the next level for assistance. Assistance would be request response from the store manager or requesting approval to write off the difference.

Transfer of funds from customers given information.

Coordinate daily work, including processes routine accounting transactional based work and administrative tasks on a timely manner.

Analyse bank deposits to find corresponding source of each deposit.

Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met as per the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) and TAT (Turn Around Time)

Educational Qualification:-

Passed X from Karnataka University, India in 2008

Passed XII from Karnataka University, India in 2010

Passed B. Com from Mangalore University, India in 2013 Additional Qualifications:-

Diploma in Computer Applications
