As a soldier, my responsibilities varied from day to day. If one day I was leading my platoon, the next day I was cleaning the barracks with my squad. The army provided me with a wide range of skills that are crucial for day to day living as a civilian.

At Walmart, I was assigned as a Customer service representative in the electronics department due to my prior experience working as a representative. The main takeaway from this job was communication and understanding what the customer wants without a detailed explanation.
