Support Business Planning and Sales by driving loading and on-time delivery to avert customer line stops, reduce delinquency and meet customer delivery requirements.
Ensures that correct and accurate system transactions and corrections are made to produce an accurate, reliable loading plan for subcontractors.
Ensures that long-term action items are closed and implemented to automate the planning system and to minimize manual interventions.
Reviews process changes, deploys spec changes and updates certification requirements of the group.

Planning Specialist – Production Planning and Scheduling
Responsible for developing device-level loading strategies and capacity allocation to smoothen the loading at Test on a weekly basis.
Allocates volume per subcontractor and determines the economic lot size before shipment transfer to balance costs, cycle time and inventory level.
Plans, projects assembly starts and measures compliance to the committed schedule to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner with due consideration to Test capacity.
Formulates loading schedules for Front Test production and measures them according to established priorities, critical ratio indices and customer requirements.
Assesses and determines the capacity allocation among several devices to develop a recovery plan for major delinquent product lines.
Evaluates and assesses the Front Test capacity requirements against the monthly revenue forecast to determine feasibility.
Responsible for determining the viability and rationale for purchasing additional testers, handlers and kits to support the monthly and quarterly revenue requirements.
Provides and coordinates weekly qualification requirements, material requirements and other reports to various support groups to guide them in their support activities.
Analyzes and improves the respective scheduling systems to effectively capture all scheduling needs.
Analyzes and determines the reasons for the early or overbuild of inventory to revise and improve various scheduling practices.
Planning Specialist – Asian Subcontract Management
Responsible for performance monitoring the cycle time of sub-contractors and delivery to ensure that they remain competitive and consistent with the company’s needs.
