Project Description

As team lead responsible for leading and guiding team members along with analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of back end applications for various products and upgrades for our IBM US customer United Parcel Services (UPS).

Key Highlights

Successfully worked on developing mainframe back end application for UPS My Choice Product, which has over 3 million customer base all over world.

Developed architecture for new product Customer Alert Request Engine (CARE) for UPS, this product have shown significant growth in UPS My Choice business.

Successfully created REST APIs for interfacing applications using z/OS connect. Used various methods to get data from migrated applications thru REST APIs.

Successfully created ICE chain transactions using CICS to get data from other interfacing applications in the real time. Also developed screens for user representatives to query DB and get required information for the end user queries.

oWork with QA to create test scripts and scenarios for enhancements developments and defects fixes.
